The Perfect Summer Bronzy Look

Hey there! Summer is such a busy season whether you’re attending weddings, going on vacation, or simply hanging out with friends. Getting ready for the day should not take up so much time that it cuts into making those special memories! Here are the makeup products I use for a quick, 15 minute bronzy summer look that’ll get you out the door faster and looking fabulous all at the same time!

The first product I use is the L'oreal Root Cover Up. If you have a little bit of gray hair peeking through, this is an amazing way to temporarily cover it up. Simply give the bottle a shake and spray wherever you need to add some color.

Glowy Base

Now let’s get into the makeup routine. It’s important to use a primer before applying any other product to your face. To get that perfect glowy base, I use the Milani Illuminating Primer. Not only is it nourishing, but this antioxidant rich primer has brightening pigments that leave your skin looking radiant. I also bring the product down to my neck and the top of my chest.

Perfecting The Skin

Next, I use the Bobbi Brown Color Corrector Stick in the shade peach under my eyes. This helps to brighten those dark circles so that the concealer will work properly. Then I blend it out using a beauty blender sponge. And speaking of concealers, next is the Born This Way Too Faced Concealer in the shade Warm Beige. I apply it under my eyes to brighten that area up!

Now it’s time for foundation. I use the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in the shade 7.75. A little goes a long way so don’t put on too much otherwise your makeup will look cakey! And, of course, blend with a beauty blender sponge.

Add Some Color

For blush, I use the Nars Orgasm Face Palette. Taking a big, fluffy brush, I apply the gorgeous shade of pink to the top part of my cheeks. This gives the face a long, contoured look. Next, I focus on the eyes. Using the Tartelette Toasted Eyeshadow Palette, I use a combination of shimmery shades of golden brown to fun pops of pink. Blending the colors over the lids and crease of my eyes, this eyeshadow adds the perfect, effortless glow to your face!

To line the waterline on both the top and bottom of my eyes, I use the Makeup Forever Eyeliner Pencil in the shade ebony. I also use this same product and a thin brush to create a smudged, winged eyeliner look near my top lash line. I finish off the eyes with the Maybelline Falsies Mascara. I love this mascara because it gives your lashes a lift and makes them look fuller at the same time! For eyebrows, I fill in the gaps with a dark brown eyebrow pencil from NYX in the shade espresso and then use a spoolie to make sure all the little hairs are going in the right direction!

Finishing Touches

Almost done with the look! For lips, I start off with a MAC lip liner in the shade cork. I love using lip liner because it makes the overall lip look neater and more defined on your face. Next, I go in with Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk lipstick. This viral lipstick is a perfect nude pink shade to wear everyday! Finally, to add a little more color to the lip, I use the Urban Decay Lip Liner  in the shade Naked 2. I apply this over the lipstick creating the perfect lip combo for summer!

Finally, to top off the glow in this summer look, I finish with highlighter. Using the Ofra Cosmetics Shimmering Swirled Highlighter in the color blissful, I add a little touch of shine to the inner corners of my eyes. This little pop of highlighter adds the perfect touch to brighten up your eyes and really make your whole look feel complete. Seal in the look with a dewey setting spray and you’re done!
